Independent test report:

A test program has been made by an independent institute concerning solderability for Ormecon CSN in comparison to HAL, Entek plus and Ni/Au with very positive results for ORMECON CSN

The tests have been:
a) solderability (aging thermal, IR reflow and wet)
b) SIR and
c) shear strength

In conclusion, ORMECON CSN was equivalent in all aspects with HAL, Ni/Au and OSP in fresh. ORMECON CSN was equivalent to Ni/Au and better than OSP after reflow and thermal aging (OSP failed after aging 155°C / 4 h.)

So, as an alternative to HAL, only Ni/Au and ORMECON CSN had been positively tested.
