Ormecon Chemie and Panipol settled a patent issue

The Finnish company Panipol Oy and the German Zipperling Kessler (and its 100% subsidiary Ormecon Chemie) have recently closed a license agreement to settle their patent issue in the field of Polyaniline, a conductive polymer. Both companies are offering various Polyaniline products based on substantially different technologies.

Ormecon Chemie and Zipperling Kessler, who own a wide range of patents in the field of conductive polymers, have granted to Panipol a non-exclusive worldwide license to their patents with the exception of certain application areas.

As part of the license contract, Ormecon Chemie has become a shareholder in Panipol. Ormecon Chemie and Panipol will cooperate in marketing of Polyaniline.

Panipol was founded in 1998 and based its business on a widely patented polyaniline technology developed by Neste, now part of Fortum, Finland and Uniax Corporation, Santa Barbara, CA, USA. See also "www.panipol.com"

Zipperling (and since 1996 Ormecon) are active in the field of conductive polymers since 1981. See also "www.ormecon.de"
