Corrosion protecion:Product Survey CORRPASSIV® Corrosion protection with the Organic Metal is practised with many different CORRPASSIV® Systems .Their working principle is ennobling and passivation, a unique process. Different systems are necessary and available for meeting different practical requirements. The different applications areas can be taken from the list of reference objects. |
- 1 component primers (solvent borne): Based on Polyvinylethers, the primers are available in various formulations for different substrates (steel, zinc-galvanized steel, aluminum etc.). In combination with intermediate and top coats formulated for best compatibility with the primers, diverse applications are possible. In most of the cases, 2-component EP top coats are part of the system. Also combinations with EP intermediate and PUR top coats are available and have shown a very good performance.
- 2 component primers (solvent borne): In close collaboration with our partner Chemische Werke Kluthe, a 2-pack EP primer has been developed for general industrial corrosion protection applications. Hakudur OM 10 shows excellent corrosion protection performance in combination with 2-pack-EP or 2-pack-PU top coats. Requests for this product may be directly addressed to Chemische Werke Kluthe.
- temperature curing primers (solvent borne): Several formulations based on different resins are available. They are highly stable and show a very good chemical resistance. Application under powder coating top coats is possible.
- water borne corrosion protection coatings: This segment is very much in our focus these days. Some first water borne systems have shown promising results and are subjected to rigorous internal testing. As soon as products of this kind can be made commercially available, it will be made public to our customers and on this page.
